Laura Spineti is a Brooklyn-based pianist, vocalist, and certified music educator. She graduated from New York University with a degree in Music Education, concentrating on piano and voice, and has taught in nyc public & private schools for the last decade.

As a performer, she’s a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA. she’s performed on national tours, international tours, off-broadway, and regional theaters across the country. Outside of teaching, you might find her playing keys with a live band, accompanying a cabaret at 54 Below, or co-composing new music with other Brooklyn-based artists.

groove & grow studios, co-founded by several nyc-based educator-peers, hopes to make music & performance education more fun for students! our teachers are all actively working musicians & performers: we practice what we preach, and we want to share what we do with you.
